Gratitude:
I am grateful for the flavorful food and being able to meet my sister for a late lunch. Yeah to Coconut Tea! So tasty!
I am grateful for the wind rushing through every part of my body. I take a breath. Soak it in and it makes me feel alive.
I am grateful for meeting my dear friend Karla for healthy dinner. She has such an enormous and amazing spirit. Always inspiring me and calming me and guiding me.
I am grateful that there was no stress at work last night. A relatively calm evening.
I am grateful that my dad called me in the afternoon - its always lovely hearing his voice.
I am grateful for the Small Scottish Terrier that made me smile.
I am grateful for a strong and grounded yoga practice this morning with Naoise.
I am grateful for the snow flakes. The last few I plan to see before months of sun! There is always something comforting about looking out the hot yoga window and seeing them fluttering down so peacefully.
I am grateful for the interview I watched while at the Gym with Elizabeth Gilbert the author or Eat, Pray, Love & Committed.
I am grateful for the man that sings some of my favorite old songs on the guitar at the corner of Yonge & St. Clair. As I stand on the corner waiting to cross the lights. I feel like I'm in a movie or on the streets in Europe somewhere. Always makes me check in!

"Feel Good Moment of the Day: Give a Wiggle."
Reflection/Inspiration:
Yoga and Meditation for Balance
Honouring the Spring Equinox:
As yoga's goal is union - of mind, body and spirit, but also feminine and masculine aspects of the self - a yoga balance practice is a great ritual for spring equinox.
1.Start your practice with some alternate nostril breathing. It helps to balance both hemispheres of the brain.
2. Sun salutations are a great way to salute the beginning or ending of the day, and what better practice during this season when the days of the sun’s light are growing every day.
3.Some examples of standing balance postures are: the tree, the eagle and the dancer. The tree is particularly appropriate at this time of year, when trees and plant life awaken from their long winter sleep.
4.Another spring-appropriate posture is the Rabbit. Rabbit has often been considered a symbol of fertility because of the abundance of offspring born in a rabbit litter. Going into the pose, reflect upon what you would like to see grow and multiply in your life in the coming fertile months.
